Project Manager
Our client are a specialist Refurbishment and Fit Out Main Contractor who deliver projects ranging from £1.5 - £15M and an annual Turn Over of circa £50M.
They are looking to recruit a permanent Project Manager to manage life cycle of projects in the Thames Valley area, occasionally required to go into London.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Managing the contract side of the project from Tender Handover through to completion.
- Developing and maintaining project programmes and resource plans.
- Identifying and mitigating risks to ensure project success. Manage Risk control.
- Leading project meetings and providing regular updates and reports to clients and their teams.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Contributing to business development through client relationship management.
- Provide experienced and effective leadership to each member of the project.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Exceptional organisational and problem‑solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

- Lead team meetings to engage, motivate, and improve performance.
- Report aspects of the project to Clients, Contracts Managers, Head of Operations, Directors, and any other relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with Technical Services Team to ensure the delivery of Design and Drawings capture any additional cost, programme delay, or external influence that may affect project delivery.
- Promote and drive health and safety.
- Cost control, while liaising with project Quantity Surveyor to produce monthly reports.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, while promoting and demonstrating the company's values.
- Quality control and Handover documentation.
Requirements
- Experience managing internal fit outs, can be from any sector, apart from Residential.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
