The Role

The Change and Transformation team play a key part in the delivery of Frontiers Strategic projects by working closely with other parts of Technology and Professional Services (i.e. Publishing, Marketing, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics) to identify operational requirements, plan, prioritise and deliver digital and/or process solutions for internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for a Project Manager who is passionate about operational excellence to join our team. If you are self-motivated, results driven, adaptable and thrive working in a fast-paced environment then we would love to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multi-functional teams, across various levels of seniority, ensuring project adherence to established processes, and driving project success.

The Project Manager role reports to the Senior Project Manager within the Change and Transformation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading the definition and delivery of Change and Transformation projects.
  • Management of all assigned projects of varying complexity.
  • Undertake matrix management of project team members involved in the delivery of the project by taking an active role in facilitating, negotiating and influencing both internal and external project stakeholders and managing their expectations, building sustainable relationships and developing networks.
  • Scoping and development of project artefacts from inception to conception, e.g. Business Case, Project Plan, and Closure report.
  • Ensure accountability and contribute to effective governance and planning.
  • Assist with the management and delivery of benefits outlined in the original business case.
  • Identify risks, document and assess impact, including action mitigation.
  • Manage status reporting for projects.
  • Manage project financial control for projects (where relevant).
About You
  • 1–2 years of Project Management experience.
  • Project Management qualification (such as Prince2, PMI or similar).
  • Process Management methodologies knowledge (such as Lean Six Sigma or others). Certification will be considered a plus.
  • Proven experience in Project and Process Management.
  • Proven experience working with OKRs.
  • Proven experience in matrix management and solution delivery in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent communication in written and spoken English, with excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience in coordinating large teams remotely.
  • A strong interest in project management delivery methodology and a desire to develop an expertise in this area.
  • Strong organizational skill with demonstrated experience in planning and delivering projects within timeframes.
  • Effective approach to problem solving with experience translating policy or strategy into change.
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and an ability to remain positive and constructive even in a challenging environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with and influence stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong team player with a focus on effective management of team members and peers.
