A leading aerospace and defense company in Wolverhampton is looking for a Project Lead - Safety and Reliability to manage complex reliability programs and lead initiatives focused on safety and system performance. The successful candidate will have a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and over 5 years of relevant experience in reliability engineering. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop reliability models, and interface with various internal departments. We are seeking a highly experienced Project Lead - Safety and Reliability to take ownership of complex reliability programs and lead initiatives that ensure the highest standards of safety and system performance. This senior role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities and manages reliability activities across advanced programs involving system integration and teaming arrangements with major subcontractors and partners.
You will play a critical role in shaping reliability strategies, developing innovative test programs, and providing technical guidance to both internal teams and external partners. This position offers significant autonomy and requires strong decision‑making skills, technical depth, and exceptional interpersonal communication.

BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, including several years in reliability engineering; or qualified by experience, including reliability engineering experience.
