Overview

Join a leading telecommunications company as a Project Coordinator!

Our client is delivering a major fibre upgrade programme across multiple cities, and they’re seeking a proactive and organised individual to support regional programme and field teams. This role is central to ensuring smooth delivery of fibre infrastructure projects, coordinating across internal departments, build partners, and local authorities.

Role Details
  • Location: Birmingham (hybrid - twice per month on-site)
  • Rate: £200 per day (inside IR35)
  • Contract Length: 26 weeks (with visibility to extend)
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate material orders and stock levels via TrackTrans to support build partners.
  • Run daily/weekly reports to ensure job permitting aligns with programme plans.
  • Prepare documentation for power and OLT deployments, ensuring milestone alignment.
  • Upload test files and manage access requests for build partners.
  • Collate handover documentation including as-builts, test results, and inspection forms.
  • Monitor GIS review queues and manage rejections with build partners.
  • Support Delivery and Field Managers with escalations and contract partner queries.
Key Requirements
  • Excellent Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable escalating issues when needed.
  • Experience working with local authorities is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of FTTH/FTTP networks is desired.
