We have made significant progress, including bringing local bus services under local control through Bus Franchising as part of the Bee Network, with more to come. Your Role

As a Programme Assurance Officer in our Audit, Risk and Assurance Team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring successful delivery across our projects and programmes. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively, using your initiative to provide high-quality assurance services to our Executive Team. You’ll engage with Project and Programme Managers, technical experts, and senior stakeholders to deliver key assurance activities.

  • Leading and contributing to Gateway Reviews, Health Checks, and other assurance activities
  • Producing robust, independent assurance reports on project and programme delivery

You’ll be comfortable working across a diverse portfolio and engaging with a wide range of professionals, from Project Managers and Technical Experts to Sponsors and Senior Responsible Owners.
