and now offers a brilliant opportunity for a driven Shift Manager to join the operations team.

This is a key leadership position on site, responsible for ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards in safety, quality, and team performance. You’ll be a senior contact during operations, taking ownership of site performance and incident management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach and support your team to achieve operational KPIs and engagement goals
  • Oversee hygiene and changeover processes to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Manage team training and development in line with operational requirements
  • Maintain a safe working environment through strong adherence to health & safety standards
  • Conduct investigations and lead on incident reporting where necessary
  • Champion GMP and clean as you go practices to meet hygiene standards
  • Control raw material usage using SAP and contribute to cost‑saving initiatives
  • Monitor and report on shift performance, conduct thorough handovers, and elevate issues appropriately
  • Deliver production in line with the supply chain plan and proactively resolve issues
  • Support and lead CI projects across the manufacturing function
What We’re Ideally Looking For
  • Strong people management skills
  • Ability to engage, drive performance and develop others
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing / production leadership role (minimum 2 years)
  • Familiarity with fast‑paced FMCG environments
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and lead a team effectively
  • Good IT proficiency, especially with Excel
  • Experience working 24/7 shifts or 12‑hour shift patterns
  • Food manufacturing or BRC background
  • MRP system experience
