Job Title: Production Paint Sprayer

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday (days)

Salary: £14.00 - £16.50 per hour (DOE) plus overtime

Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing manufacturer of high-quality machinery, supplying innovative and reliable equipment to a global customer base. Following recent expansion, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Paint Sprayer to join their team.

About the Role

As a Production Paint Sprayer, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process by delivering high-quality finishes on a range of fabricated components and machinery. You\'ll be working to engineers\' drawings and production schedules in a fast-paced environment, with occasional one-off and pre-production tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Perform production spraying to engineering specifications.
  • Set up and operate spray equipment.
  • Work to production deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Prepare surfaces using orbital sanders and fillers as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Self-inspect work to ensure high quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the Team Leader regarding any issues affecting quality, safety, or machinery.
Essential Qualifications
  • Good understanding of industrial spray-painting processes.
  • Ability to work to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to comply with all Health & Safety guidelines.
