Overview

CNC Recruitment is seeking multiple Production Operators for our prestigious client in Yeovil, a globally recognised and respected aerospace engineering company.

Pay- £12.50 per hour [ increasing after 16 weeks]

Working hours - Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Responsibilities
  • Produce general electrical and mechanical assemblies to work instructions.
  • Follow internal production processes/ work instructions.
  • Meet IPC guidelines for (electrical) standards of work, where required (training can be provided)
  • Able to Solder, Wire Harness, Optical termination, Crimp (or whatever is applicable to role in production)
  • Proficient in a range of mechanical fastening operations to work instructions.
  • Carry out Configuration testing using a laptop and software to pre-scribed process instructions.
  • Responsible for own husbandry of tools and organisation of workspace.
  • A continuous improvement mindset which relentlessly seeks ways to improve the process and product within controlled change methodology.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot assembly issues
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
