Overview

Engineering Assembly Operative / Fitter

To be considered for this role you MUST have previous Engineering / Mechanical Assembly / Bench Fitting experience and be familiar with the use of hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment. This is a Permanent role, via a Temporary-to-Permanent arrangement. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be working within the company's premises / workshops in the Burton-upon-Trent area.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Assembly / Fitting according to technical drawings
• Using Hand and Power tools
• Must have previous Assembly / Fitting experience
• Helping others within the manufacturing team
• Keeping the workshop tidy
• You may be asked to help with general day-to-day maintenance tasks

• Familiar with the use of hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment

Details

• Duration: Permanent job via 3 month Temp-to-Perm with Agency
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm (minus half an hour for breaks) – 37.5 hours per week
• Rate: £13.84 per hour
• Location: Burton-upon-Trent area
