Description
At DC Thomson we are a business with a purpose to make a positive impact on the communities we serve.
Deeply rooted in our communities we are investing in data technology and talent to unlock a new level of understanding about what really matters to our customers. This is how we are shaping the future of media.
We’ve changed the way we work to create a flexible collaborative learning‑led culture that draws on expertise from across the organisation to create award‑winning content and cultural moments that engage audiences to be part of our communities.
We are a high‑growth Managed Service Provider (MSP) with a strong reputation across Scotland and an expanding presence across the UK. With data centres in Dundee and Aberdeen we’re recognised as one of Scotland’s leading IT brands. Our portfolio has evolved to include public cloud backup‑as‑a‑service, cybersecurity, colocation, networking and private cloud solutions.
In April we accelerated our growth by acquiring Synergi, a Newcastle‑based Microsoft specialist. This strategic move expanded our consulting capabilities, strengthened our Microsoft offering and added 60 experts to the Brightsolid team.
As our Product Marketing Manager you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our product marketing strategy. You’ll help us better understand our customers and prospects, ensuring our services meet their evolving needs in a competitive market. This is a dynamic high‑impact role with real ownership and visibility across the business.
You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, product and technical teams to translate complex solutions into compelling digestible narratives. Your ability to use data for insight, storytelling and decision‑making will be key to driving growth and differentiation.
As well as a competitive remuneration and benefits package we will give you the freedom to do what you do best and all the tools and support you need to succeed. We have an open empowering culture and you will be a key part of a very dynamic sales and marketing team.
You’re a strategic product marketer with a passion for technology and a knack for turning complexity into clarity. You may come from a tech background but what sets you apart is your ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with customers and drive commercial impact.
You thrive on data, using it to uncover insights, guide decision‑making and shape go‑to‑market strategies.
You’re curious, analytical and confident in your ability to translate technical solutions into digestible, engaging content.
Collaboration is second nature to you. You work seamlessly across sales, marketing, product and operations, bringing people together to deliver cohesive campaigns and customer experiences. You’re proactive, adaptable and excited by the opportunity to take ownership in a fast‑moving high‑growth environment.
