Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Product Manager with extensive private equity experience to support restructuring projects for their insurance client. The role requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders and involves significant responsibilities in project leadership, governance compliance, and financial analysis. Candidates should possess 8+ years in asset management with a strong technical understanding of Luxembourg funds. This is a 6-month hybrid contract with travel to London.

We are currently recruiting for a Product Manager with Private equity experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the project to restructure an existing Luxembourg SCSp that feeds into a US 40 Act fund investing in private equity secondaries.
  • Assist in the design of the solution, working closely with a range of stakeholders across the investment business and client teams.
  • Development of business case to support the change for consideration by the appropriate governance committees including preparation of financial analysis to assist with the assessment of the initiative.
  • Responsibility for taking the initiative through the product development process, ensuring the appropriate governance procedures are followed and approvals obtained. All product proposals must fairly represent the client's interest to ensure that all prospective and ongoing clients are treated fairly.
  • Take the lead or work with other team members to implement the initiative within budget and to agreed timescales.
  • Ensure the initiative is built on existing infrastructure, processes and procedures in the region to enhance efficiencies and build upon economies of scale in the business.
  • Assist with enabling distribution of the fund in agreed markets, ensuring licenses and registrations are in place in key markets.
  • Ensure all product documentation is stored appropriately.
  • Ensure that the I&D ethos is always embedded within the team and any projects.
Requirements
  • Related asset management experience and a minimum of 8 years asset management financial product experience is preferred, in particular, in relation to private markets including secondaries.
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of Luxembourg pooled funds required, in particular in relation to alternative funds investing in private markets including RAIFs and SCSp structures.
  • Collaborative team player with the confidence to work with multiple stakeholders across a range of functions, regions and develop a network of internal relationships
  • An understanding of the current regulatory issues Europe.
