• Proven experience in procurement, buying, or sourcing—ideally within the catering, hospitality, or food & beverage sector.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and source new suppliers and products in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong understanding of how to leverage social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram) to stay on top of trends and drive innovation.
• Track record of successful supplier negotiations and cost savings.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset.
• Passion for high-quality, sustainable food and beverage products.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools—able to clearly present pricing structures, cost comparisons, and profit analysis.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially savvy Procurement Specialist / Buyer to lead product sourcing and supplier management in the UK. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our product range remains exciting, high-quality, and aligned with Blue Tiger's values—local, ethical, and sustainable—while also driving profitability and cost efficiency.

You will be responsible for discovering and onboarding new suppliers, negotiating competitive pricing, maintaining strong relationships, and curating a product portfolio that reflects both client preferences and market trends. You will also be expected to proactively seek out new product opportunities and stay in tune with consumer demand through trend monitoring and social media engagement.
