Overview

Position: Process Engineering Manager
Location: Gloucester
Job Type: Permanent / Onsite

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the manufacturing and inspection methods of all products produced, including sustainability considerations and ensuring reports meet customer standards.
• Manage a team of 3 production staff and collaborate with the wider engineering team on upcoming and ongoing projects.
• Identify and realise opportunities for continuous improvement and optimisation of manufacturing and inspection processes and procedures.
• Present project proposals to the Senior Management Team to gain budgetary sign-off and project sponsorship.
• Drive the adoption of automation to deliver improved overall performance.

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree level educated within Engineering with suitable management experience.
• Experience in a high-paced manufacturing environment, ideally with the use of CNC and machine tools.
• Strong engineering and manufacturing background with experience in process development and Lean manufacturing.
• A good understanding of statistical tools and techniques.
