Job summary

A leading engineering firm seeks a Lead / Principal Electrical Engineer in Leatherhead, UK, to develop electrical power system designs for energy transition and security projects. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in designing large industrial power systems and experience in power system studies using ETAP. Competitive rate of £62 per hour, outside IR35, with a duration of 12 months+

Overview

Lead / Principal Electrical Engineer for Energy Transition / Security Projects.

Rate - £62p/hr - Outside IR35

Duration - 12 months + Based Surrey

Responsibilities

• Lead / principal engineer for energy transition and energy security projects to develop the electrical power system designs required to support the process design.

Qualifications

• Demonstratable experience of designing large industrial power systems is a pre-requisite for the roles.

Desirable experience

• a) Power system designs for H2 / NH3 / LNG / Refining projects
• b) Sizing and selection of high voltage equipment, Large Frequency convertors, AC/ DC UPS systems etc.
• c) Development of philosophies and specifications
• d) Input to estimating.
• e) Abiltiy to complete power system studies / calculations using ETAP / review of studies by others
