Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher - Portsmouth - December 2025

Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher looking for a teaching opportunity within a supportive and vibrant school community? Whether you're an experienced practitioner or an ECT, we'd love to hear from you! We are working with an outstanding and high-achieving primary school in Portsmouth that is seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher from December 2025.

Responsibilities
  • As a Primary Teacher you will stay up to date with educational research and policies through training, workshops, and reading, while actively implementing all school and local authority initiatives.
  • As a Primary Teacher you will promote a positive school culture by modelling excellent teaching practice, motivating staff, and representing the school in meetings with governors and external networks.
  • As a Primary Teacher you will plan and deliver a high-quality, inclusive curriculum that challenges all pupils and supports progress in core and non-core subjects.
  • As a Primary Teacher you will monitor pupil progress closely, using data to identify and implement effective interventions that close learning gaps and raise achievement.
  • As a Primary teacher you will collaborate regularly with colleagues and parents to support individual learning needs and communicate curriculum developments.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Be committed to delivering engaging, inclusive lessons as a Primary Teacher
  • Show excellent classroom and behaviour management as a Primary Teacher
  • Be a team player with a reflective, proactive approach
