Overview

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Are you an experienced Play Leader looking for a role in a primary school? We are seeking an experienced and passionate Play Leader for one of our North Liverpool based primary schools.

Responsibilities
  • Activity Planning and Implementation: Developing and leading a variety of age-appropriate games, sports, arts and crafts, and other activities that encourage physical activity, creativity, and social interaction.
  • Child Supervision and Safety: Ensuring the physical safety and well-being of all children in the program, adhering to safety regulations, and responding to any accidents or emergencies.
  • Positive Interaction and Role Modelling: Building positive relationships with children, providing guidance and support, and acting as a positive role model for behaviour and social skills.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicating effectively with parents or guardians about their child\'s experiences in the program and collaborating with other staff members to ensure a smooth and cohesive program.
  • Administrative Tasks: Preparing and maintaining activity areas, managing equipment and resources, and potentially assisting with snack service and other administrative duties.

  • Patience and Empathy: A genuine interest in working with children and the ability to understand and respond to their individual needs.

  • An enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • A CV that must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible)
  • Legal right to work in the UK
