A leading educational provider is seeking a Practitioner Psychologist to join their team at Meadowcroft School. This role involves delivering psychological assessments and interventions within an educational setting. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in psychology and be registered with the HCPC. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £65k, along with a £3,000 welcome bonus and a £2,000 training allowance.

Job Title: Practitioner Psychologist
Location: Meadowcroft School - Wakefield, WF1 4AD
Salary: Up to GBP65k (FTE, DOE) plus GBP3000 Welcome Bonus (Welcome Bonus is payable as one payment of GBP1,500 after completion of one month and one further payment of GBP1,500 upon completion of your final probation period. T&C's Apply)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, hours to overlap with core school hours (Part time hours may be considered)
Contract: Permanent (Term time only, or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)

We are looking for a Practitioner Psychologist to join our in-house clinical team at Meadowcroft school.
Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver psychological assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Psychological Practice Ways of Working. This will guide your practice within an education setting and clarify your roles and responsibilities, while taking into account the requirements of your governing and professional bodies. You will be given responsibility for holding a psychological caseload, with the full support of your designated clinical supervisor and site lead, also contributing to school development, staff training and consultation as required. This post would suit a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual.
