A healthcare provider in West Bromwich seeks a part-time Practice Nurse for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a significant background in patient care, including wound management, immunisations, and chronic disease management. This is an exciting opportunity for a part time Practice Nurse to work at GBPH for 6 months under ARRS contract. The practice is looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our friendly and professional clinical team. We are seeking someone who will share our commitment to providing excellent healthcare to our patients.
The nurse will have a range of clinical skills developed through experience and will be competent to deal with the general nursing of patients who present to the surgery, working to practice policies, and referral to other disciplines, colleagues or GPs when appropriate.
Duties to include
Our clinical team consists of GPs, Nurse Consultant, Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurses, Health care assistants and Clinical Pharmacists as well as staff that are joined to our PCN grouping. These staff include social prescribers, clinical pharmacists, first contact physiotherapists and a pharmacy technician. Our patient population is 16,500. We use SystmOne as our clinical system.

Experience of working with patients with Diabetes, Hypertension and Asthma would be an advantage. The right candidate will have excellent time keeping skills and must work well as part of a team. We are a safeguarding aware practice and take safeguarding seriously. All staff must be trained in safeguarding as well as follow our policies and procedures. We are an IRIS accredited organisation also.
