Service Care Solutions is recruiting an experienced Practice Leader to join the Violence Reduction & Exploitation Team within Children and Families’ Social Care. This is a senior operational role focused on safeguarding children and young people impacted by youth and community violence, exploitation and associated risks.
The role is located in Woolwich and the pay for the role would be £33.69 ltd per hour.
Reporting to the Safeguarding Service Leader, you will lead a small team of practitioners and provide strategic and practice leadership across the borough. You will ensure statutory duties under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 are met while delivering effective, child‑centred interventions.
Responsibilities include leading multi‑agency work with police, schools and youth justice partners; attending MACE, Risk Management Panels and Missing Meetings; monitoring performance and reporting to senior leaders; contributing to policy development, audits, case reviews and improvement plans; and providing specialist advice on violence reduction and adolescent safeguarding.
You will bring significant experience in risk assessment and management, multi‑agency partnership working, service improvement and performance monitoring. A strong background in delivering interventions for victims, perpetrators and vulnerable young people is essential, alongside proven leadership, communication and analytical skills.
