This permanent, part-time role (15 hours per week, 0.4 WTE) is a job share opportunity and could be ideal for someone looking to develop a portfolio career while making a real impact on education and practice development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Based primarily at our Colchester Hospital site, with the requirement to work flexibly across other ESNEFT sites.
  • Provide leadership and support for practice education across nursing, AHP, and wider professions.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, inclusive learning environments for students, preceptors, assessors, and supervisors.
  • Work collaboratively with Higher Education Institutions, NHS England, and other education providers.
  • Champion inter-professional learning and promote excellence in practice education.

What we’re looking for:

  • An enthusiastic, motivated professional with experience in practice education.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to inspire and support both learners and educators.
  • A collaborative approach to partnership working and a passion for developing others.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking, supportive team where education and professional development are at the heart of safe, effective, and person-centred care. We are ESNEFT and we provide hospital and community health services to almost one million people across east Suffolk and north Essex.

We offer a wide range of training and development opportunities, as well as flexible working options. Along with supporting you to achieve your career goals we offer a generous pension scheme, unsocial hours payments (where applicable), 27 days annual leave on commencement (pro rata) and access to a range of NHS discounts.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. We are committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all our employment practices.
