Overview

We are looking for a Practice Development Dietitian (Band 7) to join our established Therapies Practice Development team at NUH. The practice development role is wide and varied, and offers educational and career support to all therapy staff at NUH, alongside other key deliverables as detailed below.

If you are a dynamic and forward thinking dietitian, wishing to utilise and further develop your excellent communication and planning skills, we would like to hear from you. Applicants are required to be able to work on both campuses flexibly.

The therapy practice development team supports therapy services to deliver excellent patient care and high quality staff experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment of new Band 5s to NUH to provide our services at this level.
  • Delivery of the Preceptorship programme alongside our Band 5 rotation and the staff employed on this.
  • Support staff to develop in all 4 pillars of practice, offering support in relation to career conversations, performance development and key projects within the service.
  • Direct supervision of the Practice Placement Lead Dietitian who leads on practice placement within the service.
  • Provide high quality support across the 4 pillars of practice for the dietitians employed at NUH.
