Delivery Postie with Driving

Location: Bristol Delivery Office, BS20 6AL

Job type: Permanent contract

Hours: 37 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working between 06:00 and 18:00. Due to operational demand, you will be required to work weekends. Sunday working will be covered from Bristol North Delivery Office.

Overview

Postperson with Driving role delivering for the local community. It is a physical job that keeps you fit, with outdoor work in all weather. You will be part of the Royal Mail network delivering to homes and small businesses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels and letters on an assigned route
• Walk for long periods and work outside in any weather
• Use a full UK manual driving licence (subject to policy) and drive as required
• Provide courteous customer service and represent the Royal Mail in the community
• Meet operational requirements, including weekend work and shifts within 06:00–18:00
