A leading cancer research institute in London is seeking a Postdoctoral Training Fellow to join the In Silico Medicinal Chemistry group. This role involves supporting drug discovery projects through innovative computational chemistry methods and collaborating with in-house experts. Candidates must hold a PhD in computational chemistry or a related field, with experience in computational methods valued. The position offers a competitive salary and a dynamic research environment.
Salary: Dependent on relevant Postdoctoral experience.

Under the guidance of Dr. Andrea Scarpino, we are seeking to recruit a Postdoctoral Training Fellow to join the In Silico Medicinal Chemistry group within the Division of Cancer Therapeutics. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and accelerating drug discovery projects by applying innovative computational chemistry methods. Group members work in close collaboration with in-house experts in chemistry, biology, biological assays, structural chemistry, structural biology, DMPK, and bioinformatics on projects at all stages of drug discovery, from early target validation and chemical hit finding, through to lead optimisation and candidate selection.
The successful candidate must have a PhD in computational chemistry or a related field, with broad knowledge and experience in computational chemistry methods. Candidates nearing completion of their PhD may apply, but confirmation of PhD award is required within 6 months of employment.
The ICR has a workforce policy that Postdoctoral Training Fellows can be employed for up to 7 years at the ICR, considering total postdoctoral experience (including previous employment at this level elsewhere) not exceeding 7 years.
