A leading housing association in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Post Contract Manager to oversee the successful delivery of development projects. This full-time, permanent role based in Tewkesbury or Wolverhampton requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, alongside experience in managing budgets and risk. Key duties include tracking project progress, resolving quality defects, and maintaining stakeholder relationships to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a proactive and organised post contract manager to oversee the successful delivery of our development projects once contracts are in place.
You’ll ensure homes are built to the required quality, meet all compliance standards and are handed over smoothly for letting or sale. This role is ideal for someone confident in managing contractors, monitoring performance and resolving issues quickly.
You will manage the full post-contract phase, coordinating colleagues, consultants and contractors to ensure projects stay on programme, within scope and budget. You will track progress, monitor financial performance, meet regulatory and Homes England requirements, and lead project close-down to support continuous improvement.
A strong customer focus is essential. You will review quality reports, identify and resolve defects, and act as the main link between aftercare teams, consultants and developers to ensure a smooth customer experience.
You will build effective relationships with stakeholders, monitor performance and address any issues as they arise. You will manage budgets and cashflows, complete viability reviews, and maintain risk registers to ensure projects remain compliant, safe and on track.
This role is permanent and full time. You can be based from either of our main offices in Tewkesbury or Wolverhampton with regular travel to sites required.
