Post 16 SEN Teaching Assistant - Greenwich, South East London - ASAP

We are working with a 'Good' Post 16 school in Greenwich, who are looking to secure the services of an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join ASAP. It is essential that you have experience, supporting pupils with additional needs.

This role is to support the needs of students with SEN, who may display low-level challenging behaviours and can become disengaged from learning quite quickly. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students with SEN succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualised support and foster a positive learning atmosphere. To be successful in this role, it is essential you are calm, resilient, and overall, have a good sense of humour.

You will provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their learning goals. Aid teachers in managing classroom behaviour and creating an inclusive environment. Motivate and mentor students, helping them build confidence and develop essential life skills.
