Portfolio Sales Professional

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Professional to join our Team based out of our Warrington Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for following Leadership Team guidance in coordination with Branch Manager and National EI Services Manager, to manage the systems and processes for portfolio as a central function to support the branches and KAM team. They will drive the UKC Portfolio Sales Strategy for the KG: portfolio growth with density.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Identify timely initiatives for portfolio protection and develop new business actions to achieve annual sales and profit targets
  • Enable a sustainable digital journey to Schindler Customers
  • Ensure effectiveness of portfolio protection through renewals and growth (recoveries) initiatives
  • Converting newly installed lifts Pre-paid Maintenance (PPM) to ongoing service contracts prior to the end of warranty
  • Upselling Schindler’s digital services to new and existing customers
  • To re-negotiate existing service contracts prior to their renewal date, reviewing poor performing contracts to improve profitability
  • Support the branches for complex service contracts and all large portfolio tenders where required
  • Revisit existing and past customer base to increase data quality and utilization of key contacts with the power to influence business award decisions
  • Ensure competition strategy knowledge in order to achieve pricing targets. Supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors in the country
  • Responsible for business related information (sales information, forecasting and reports), with a special focus on PowerBi tools utilization, to enable effective business reviews with Branches and KG management
  • To ensure potential contractual risks are always mitigated by working closely with the QS teams and Legal
  • Customer visits and presentations
  • Monitor and manage discount levels
  • Collaborate and active involvement in the budgeting and forecasting process for service sales
  • Continuous monitoring of the contract portfolio development
  • Develop and support sales processes, tools, guidelines and monitor appropriate implementation into branches
  • Manage the annual portfolio price increase, on a monthly basis
  • Support branches in any questions regarding processes and tools
  • Regularly monitor and analyse the competitor strategies and market developments
  • Analyse root causes on significant cancellation/loss
  • To adhere fully to the company core values
  • All employees are required to work in accordance with established Company Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and Schindler Core Values to ensure compliance with current UK legal requirements and Schindler Group Safety requirements
  • Employees are required to attend all relevant Training Sessions
  • Employees are required to carry out all works in accordance with the Company’s Quality Corporate Policy
  • Employees will be required to contribute to the Company’s Safety Objectives, where necessary by maintaining/monitoring current safety systems under their direct control and implementing agreed changes (where applicable) to its Safety Management System.
