This role will sit within the 11:FS Growth team and will report to the Executive Producer, Laura Watkins. The media department within the Growth team manages all the audio, video, and events content that 11:FS publishes, including shows like Fintech Insider, Blockchain Insider, After Dark, and documentaries such as Decoding: Banks. Our content reaches a global audience of financial services experts weekly, promoting the 11:FS brand and thought leadership worldwide. Fintech Insider alone has surpassed 20 million downloads weekly, with over 750 episodes reaching new audiences and geographies each month.

This role is an initial 6-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) with the potential to go permanent.

Summary of Role:

To drive the growth of the 11:FS brand and podcast audience through content creation, show writing, scoping, planning, production, and delivery across our podcast network, live events, and auxiliary content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate actively in content creation and production across all channels and podcast network, focusing on:
Content creation:
  • Oversee all content creation for Fintech Insider news, insights, interviews, client work, and live shows to maintain quality and increase reach.
  • Write show notes for all Fintech Insider shows (minimum twice weekly), as well as for interviews, live shows, events, and client projects.
  • Research and identify the best global guests for various topics, expanding our contact database and pairing guests with suitable hosts.
  • Scope, plan, and research new show ideas and topics with the content and production teams to keep content fresh and evolving.
  • Test, learn, and adapt content strategies in real-time.
  • Collaborate with marketing to maximize content exposure and audience growth.
  • Work with clients and internal teams to develop sponsored shows and content.
Content Production:
  • Lead and coordinate all recordings and post-production activities with the audio/video team to ensure high-quality output.
  • Attend all podcast and video recordings, managing hosts and guests.
  • Coordinate with editing teams for content quality.
  • Assist in setting up and dismantling production equipment.
  • Facilitate remote, hybrid, and in-person recordings with A/V support and guests.
  • Handle guest bookings, liaising with PR, Comms, and Marketing to meet show requirements.
  • Vet and audit guests for quality contributions.
  • Manage event and live show logistics, bookings, and staging.
Skills & Experience:
  • Excellent written English and copywriting skills, with journalism or copywriting experience preferred.
  • Ability to craft content for various formats: spoken, written, live, panel, and one-on-one interviews.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to simplify complex financial topics for diverse audiences.
  • Interest in fintech and financial services; industry experience is a plus but not essential.
  • Passion for content creation, especially podcasts, with a creative and proactive mindset.
