A leading provider of control systems and capital equipment, this business provides bespoke solutions to customers across a range of industries. Following a period of sustained growth they are now looking to recruit a talented PLC Service Engineer.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Respond to service and breakdown calls
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and back ups of electrical equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by clients, providing timely solutions
  • Install new equipment and systems as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards
  • On call 1 full week in 5 and 1 weekend in 5 (flexible rota organised between the 5 on-call engineers)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or in a similar technical role
  • Engineering qualification e.g. NVQ Level 3 / HNC / HND / Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong understanding of PLCs & Drives
  • A valid driver's license is required for travel to client sites
