Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Workshop Manager the main purpose of the role is to service and repair a wide range of plant equipment and vehicles in accordance with Company and Manufacturers Service Schedules. As a Mobile Plant technician, you will be maintaining and supporting our fleet of plant equipment. Responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance as required.
  • Carry out scheduled Service Inspections, servicing and repairs in compliance with manufacturers specifications.
  • Conduct regular servicing on machinery, plant and equipment as assigned to you.
  • Diagnose and repair of complex faults in machinery, plant and equipment.
  • Conduct repairs to machinery, plant and equipment, and their components.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient workshop and environment.
  • Record information digitally, including photographs on Syrinx App.
  • Carry out all tasks in compliance with the Company’s Environmental and Health and Safety Procedures.
  • Happy to work under your own initiative and as part of a team.
Requirements
  • Knowledge that would be acquired through education to NVQ3 equivalent.
  • CSCS
  • Preferably experience in similar role
  • Full UK driving licence (Essential)
  • Commitment to carry out in house Murphy training requirements
