Job summary

A leading boiler manufacturer based in Warwick is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to efficiently plan work for gas engineers. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role. The starting salary is £29,500 for a 40-hour work week with rotating shifts. Flexible hours and assistance for specific needs are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience working as a Planner/Scheduler in a similar sector/environment.
• Any experience using Service Power software is advantageous but not essential.

• Ordering parts from internal and external warehouses.
• Working closely with Field Managers to ensure engineers' workload is efficient and accurate to improve first time fix %.
• Communicating regularly with both engineers and customers.

Overview

Planner/Scheduler – an opportunity to join one of the leading boiler manufacturers in the UK, based at the head offices in Warwick, Warwickshire. This is a business-critical, efficient team role.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and planning gas engineers' work on a daily basis, maximising efficiency and minimising travel time between jobs
• Ordering parts from internal and external warehouses
• Working closely with Field Managers to ensure engineers' workload is efficient and accurate to improve first time fix %
• Communicating regularly with both engineers and customers

Salary and shift pattern

The starting basic salary for the Planner/Scheduler is £29,500 based on a 40 hour week with rotating shifts as follows:

• Week 1 Mon-Fri, 07:30-16:30
• Week 2 Mon-Fri, 08:00-17:00
• Week 3 Mon-Fri, 09:00-18:00
• Week 4 Mon-Fri, 10:00-19:00

This role includes working 1 in 3 Saturdays from 08:30-14:00; on Saturdays weeks, shifts will be adjusted to meet 40 hours total.
