Overview

This role involves fabricating, welding, and installing pipework for process industries with a focus on hygienic, high-quality installations in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical environments.

What You Will Do

• Fabricate, weld, and install pipework to the highest standards within the process industry.
• Use TIG purge welding techniques to deliver hygienic and high-quality installations.
• Install hygienic pipework, steam systems, and condensate systems with precision.
• Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, and maintenance tasks independently.
• Survey, measure, and plan pipework routes with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Perform fabrication tasks both in the workshop and on-site, ensuring exceptional quality and efficiency.

What You Will Bring

• Completion of a recognised qualification or time-served apprenticeship in a relevant trade.
• Proven expertise in stainless steel fabrication and process installations.
• Significant experience in welding and fabrication, including pipework and bracketry.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs.
• A strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations and best practices.
