The Pharmacy Department is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to support us in the delivery of pharmacy services at HMP Forest Bank. This role post is for 19 hours a week. Are you a community/Hospital Pharmacy Assistant looking for a new challenge? if so, this may be the job for you! This is an opportunity to join our committed team working in the pharmacy department to provide a variety of support roles across the establishment. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial with the ability to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team. If you are a motivated individual with a desire to enhance your pharmacy skills, we can offer a wide range of training and development opportunities.

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service, taking into consideration, at all times, the need to maintain a high level of security. The post holder will be an integral member of the Pharmacy Team, who form part of the wider healthcare. You will be required to support the delivery of Pharmacy Services which will include supply of medication, supervision of administration of medication to prisoners, and providing NHS services to prisoners within your competency.
