The role

The main purpose of this role is to provide day to day contractual, administrative, and operational support to the Pest Team and wider Property Operations and Customer Operations team. To provide day to day support to the National Pest Control Contracts Manager, in delivering the Pest control operations. Customer liaison and a high degree of customer care will be required along with an ability to deal with high volumes of enquiries.

This role is part of Property where you'll help us to lead the way investing and maintaining 46,000 homes.

This is a 12 month FTC Opportunity

What you’ll achieve
  • To provide support & assistance to the Pest Team to contribute to the delivery of achieving our Estate Standards, Pest prevention and pest control management.
  • To lead on the collation of the relevant Pest Services data for performance management of external contractors.
  • Provide coordination/administration for the process of financial variations to Pests contracts. This will involve maintaining payment schedules that generate purchase orders and assisting with a quarterly reconciliation process, which the Pest Control contracts Manager will lead with Pest Contractors
  • Provide coordination/administration for the process of payments through ActiveH or any other IT payment facility that maybe implemented
  • Assist the Pest team with the monitoring and reporting of pest prevention, including analysing date to future proof our assets
  • Assist Quality and Standards Manager with reporting on all Health & Safety related matters.
What you’ll bring

Essential skills

  • Experience in coordinating pest or estate related functions in Social Housing or multi-disciplinary environments
  • A solid understanding of the Microsoft Office packages
  • Financial awareness and accuracy of relevant data sets including service charge apportionment etc.
  • Experience of working under KPI related pressure and delivering quality work to tight deadlines
  • Experience of working in a customer-oriented environment & dealing with the public on estate related matters
Desirable skills
  • Any relevant NVQ or other similar qualification - e.g. in Customer Service, word processing, RSA II or equivalent Business Administration
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics
  • Relevant public or commercial sector experience working in Pest Control management / estate services / housing industry
