Hello - I require help from a part time PA who will cover weekends and holidays of my main carer.

I would love to meet someone who is a thoughtful, reliable carer who respects clear communication and is happy to follow routines and preferences as I like them.

I’m calm, positive, and fair by nature - but I do appreciate things being done in a particular way, so attention to detail is important as you'll in effect be my arms and legs when you are in my home.

If you're someone who takes pride in getting things right and creating a smooth, respectful environment, you’ll feel very comfortable working with me.

DUTIES:

• Hoisting me from wheelchair to shower chair, dressing me
• Also some light house tasks like washing up and preparing a meal in the evenings.
• I will give you training in how I like tasks to be done, and you can shadow my full time PA as you learn.
• I require someone with emotional intelligence, empathy and a positive disposition.
• Experience of this kind of work. may be an advantage though if you are willing to learn, that shouldn't be an issue.
• It is also important that confidentially is observed, anything you hear or do inside my home should not go any further.

EXTRA INFO:

It is important that you like dogs, I have 2 chihuahuas, they are friendly but each one has their own characteristics.

PAY & HOURS:

• The total hours of this post are 3 per day at the weekends, amounting 6 hours in total per week and 24 hours per month, at 14.50 per hour.
• This will be broken down to 3 hours each day = an hour and a half in the morning and an hour and a half in the evening on Saturdays and Sundays.
