Overview

We are looking for a competent and caring individual who is interested in carrying out a varied and rewarding role as a Personal Assistant in the Finance Department at our head office in Stockport, providing a warm and professional welcome to visitors to the department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support in the Finance Department, including handling enquiries and ensuring tasks are followed through to completion.
  • Engage with colleagues and external stakeholders through confident verbal and written communication.
  • Plan and prioritise a varied workload, exercise initiative and judgement, and respond promptly and appropriately to all enquiries.
  • Handle information of a confidential nature and observe high standards of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
  • Participate in providing administrative support on the Out of Hours duty team, with the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the work carried out across the country in our services.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in administration, preferably with some experience of the social care sector.
  • High level of IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel, and able to follow processes and suggest improvements.
