Overview

Support with social engagement and activities. 8 hours per week – employed or self-employed. Weekdays only, to be confirmed with the personal assistant (PA).

Client information

Client main diagnosis: Early onset Alzheimer’s disease. They are not always orientated to their home and need supervision. They are frightened that they will be on their own and that they are stupid and people will laugh at them. They need constant reassurance in this respect.

Work environment and requirements
  • Manual Handling: None required.
  • Pets: An energetic dog.
  • Communication: There are no communication barriers.
  • Client enjoys: Walking, their local café, and to chat.
  • There is a 10-year-old child in the family.
