About Network Rail High Speed

Network Rail High Speed Ltd. (NRHS) operates and maintains the UK's only international high-speed railway (HS1) owned by London St. Pancras Highspeed. The 109km London St. Pancras Highspeed infrastructure comprises track, signalling, overhead line, lineside buildings, depots, viaducts and long tunnels. NRHS operates and maintains three international stations: St Pancras, Stratford and Ebbsfleet International. NRHS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, privately financed under an agreement with London St. Pancras Highspeed, undertaking activities from railway infrastructure maintenance and operations to station facilities management and retail on behalf of our client.

Our vision: For everyone to love High Speed rail. Our passengers and freight users are at the heart of everything we do. We help connect people to their friends, evaluate significant delay incidents incurred on the HS1 Network and determine appropriate learning to embed into incident response practices to reduce future disruption and improve overall train performance. We liaise with colleagues within NRHS and the wider industry to gather feedback that allows accurate attribution of delay-incurring incidents across the HS1 Network. We produce Adverse Weather Plans on a seasonal basis to provide assurance to stakeholders, recording NRHS activities to ensure readiness during extreme weather.

The Role and Location

This is a permanent position. The role is based at One Stratford Place; frequent travel to other office and site locations along the High Speed line is expected.
