We\\'re currently recruiting for a dedicated People Partner to join our dynamic team within our Best Food Logistics business.

If you have strong people partnering experience, a background working with Trade Unions, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

This role will be based in Royton supporting the site and also our Central Functions.

  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement people strategies that drive business growth
  • Provide expert advice on complex employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with policies and employment law
  • Manage talent, support development, and succession planning
  • Work on organisational design and change management initiatives
  • Use data to support people-focused initiatives
  • Champion colleague engagement, wellbeing, and diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Focus on performance and absence management
  • Maintain strong relationships with Trade Union representatives

This role is initially on a 6 month basis but has the possibility for extension or becoming a permanent position.

  • CIPD Level 5 would be advantageous but not essential
  • Strong people partnering experience
  • Experience with Trade Unions and ideally in a blue-collar environment
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Knowledge of employment law and employee relations management
  • A commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion
  • People Management experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, such as distribution or retail
