Salary and Location

• GBP36,412 - GBP56,959 per year
• GBP196 - GBP265 per day

Person Specification – PE Teacher

• You will need to hold a recognised teaching qualification in the UK, including QTS (or an appropriate overseas qualification leading to obtaining QTS).
• The school is keen to hear from NQTs or experienced teachers, especially at Key Stages 3 & 4; experience teaching a range of syllabus on the National Curriculum is advantageous.
• Ideally you will have experience of working in a mixed-ability secondary comprehensive school and can demonstrate the ability to differentiate lessons accordingly, appreciating inclusion.
• Confidence in planning, preparing and delivering lessons for mixed-ability pupils at GCSE level.
• Enthusiastic about sports and how this promotes healthy lifestyles.
• Ability to deliver a range of sports disciplines and to work in a skilled team.
• Aspiring and driven.
