PE Teacher Secondary School (KS3 & KS4)
Location: Near Totton, Southampton
Start Date: October 2025
Contract: Long-term cover until February 2026
Pay: £150 - £230 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
This is a long-term cover role starting in October 2025 and continuing until February 2026. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a love of physical activity, building confidence, and encouraging healthy lifestyles among students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum.
  • Inspire and motivate students to participate and progress in a wide range of sports and physical activities.
  • Monitor, assess, and provide constructive feedback on student performance.
  • Create an inclusive and safe learning environment, ensuring the well-being of all pupils.
  • Support the wider school ethos by contributing to extracurricular activities and whole-school initiatives.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching PE at secondary school level (KS3/KS4).
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
