About New Ways College

New Ways is an Outstanding Independent SEN School with two locations. Our KS3 students are based at our South Birmingham site (B38), while KS4 and KS5 students attend our college site in North Worcestershire (B60).

We cater to students aged 11‑19 with special educational needs, primarily related to Autism.

Our school provides a safe, low‑sensory environment alongside an ambitious curriculum that includes a range of GCSEs and enrichment opportunities.

We are committed to ensuring that all students achieve the best possible outcomes and are fully prepared for their transition into further education, employment, training, and adulthood.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up the classroom and PE spaces to create a positive learning environment
  • Plan and teach lessons that suit all ability levels

  • Support students with their PE, based on their age and level
  • Help keep students safe and support their well‑being
Requirements
  • A strong commitment to supporting students with SEND
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a SEND setting or similar provision
  • QTS or QTLS
