Payments Service Provider Operations Manager/Specialist – 12 month contract Hybrid/London
My client are looking for a payments operations specialist who can be the main point of contact between them and the payments service provider.
You will be managing the relationship operationally between one or multiple payments service providers.
Responsibilities
- Understand PSP landscape and payment ecosystem – the role they play, how they operate, etc.
- Relationship management + communication effectiveness – not a Sales/BD role; focus on communications and client relationships to develop and deepen external party relationships.
- Partner operations account management – not a sales role.
- Technical consulting / aptitude – resolve technical issues with PSPs and merchants; interpret specifications; facilitate technical discussions and translate to business language.
- Data analysis and reporting – understand data sets, identify themes, report effectively; interpret data and present issues.
- Problem-solving – inquisitive; address issues such as card acceptance breakages (not declines) and deliverables.
- Project management – broad coordination, tracking, progressing and delivering initiatives; manage multiple PSPs or customers simultaneously.
- For those from a PSP operations role, ability to elevate beyond working for a PSP with a merchant relationship while leveraging that experience.
Nice to have / Industry experience
- Awareness of hotels payment solutions and ecosystems
- 1 contractor: awareness of F&B payment solutions and ecosystems
- Experience of previously managing relationships or being the key point of contact with PSPs
- (cards, payments, schemes, Payment service providers, payments consultant, technical payments, operations manager)
