Overview

Our consultancy client is currently looking for a couple of experienced payments BA's with extensive knowledge of BACS (DD and DC) and SEPA (Inst and DD) to work on a project for a banking client of theirs. The project you will be working on is building a new payments platform from scratch which will be a SaaS based product. You will need expert working knowledge on payments schemes, regulatory and rulebook changes, message and field mapping and edge cases. The payments specialisation is non negotiable so please only apply if you have a strong background across BACS and SEPA.

Responsibilities

• In-depth analysis of complex initiatives, producing documentation and defining business requirements using knowledge of various SEPA clearing schemes and the SWIFT network to write appropriate work packages for the engineering team.
• Create user stories and acceptance criteria using technical expertise and knowledge of process modelling to help manage change.
• Onboard to SEPA clearing scheme with knowledge of messaging such as SWIFT MT and ISO20022.
• Be onsite initially for 3 days a week in London; this will decrease longer term.
• Role is inside IR35.
