Pastry Chef de Partie – Hospitality & Fine Dining

Location: Canary Wharf

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (40 hours per week)

Pay: £16.48 per hour

We are looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our fine dining kitchen team in Canary Wharf. This role offers a great work-life balance with weekday-only shifts—no evenings or weekends.

About the Role

You will be responsible for running the pastry section, preparing high-quality desserts, breads, and other baked goods to a professional standard. Working closely with the culinary team, you’ll help maintain the high standards of our fine dining establishment while developing your pastry skills further.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the pastry section to a high standard
  • Produce a variety of desserts, breads, and pastries consistently and creatively
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and food safety standards within the pastry area
  • Support and guide junior pastry staff as needed
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in a pastry role within a high-standard hospitality or fine dining kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking fundamentals
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Passion for creativity in pastry and desserts
