Job summary

A leading educational organization in Closeburn is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join their clinical team. This role involves delivering tailored assessments and interventions to children with a variety of communication needs, including those from neurodiverse backgrounds or with SEMH needs. The successful candidate will collaborate within a supportive environment, utilize a structured approach, and enjoy comprehensive professional development opportunities. Competitive salary up to £53,200 pro rata is offered for 22 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience as a fully registered member of the RCSLT working in a similar setting.
  • Some knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma informed practice.
  • Some experience of multi-disciplinary working in various settings.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils.
  • Hold a Speech and Language therapy caseload with support from a designated clinical supervisor.
  • Contribute to staff training and consultation as required.

Education

Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy
HCPC registration
