Overview

We are working with a growing business who are seeking a senior finance professional to provide high-level support on a flexible, part-time basis (around 3 days per month). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant or Finance Director who would like to contribute their expertise without committing to a full-time role.

The company has strong day-to-day bookkeeping support in place, but now requires additional expertise to take the finance function to the next level — introducing management reporting, improving systems, and overseeing more strategic financial tasks.

Key responsibilities
  • Producing accurate monthly management accounts.
  • Reviewing and updating terms and conditions of sale and purchase, including liaising with external advisors where needed.
  • Cash management, ensuring balances achieve the best available interest rates.
  • Handling ad-hoc financial tasks to support the growth and efficiency of the business.
  • Reviewing and improving accounting systems, including Sage50, and exploring options for more modern software solutions (e.g. bank links, cloud access, remote functionality).
