Job Details

ASAP start, Part‑time Nanny needed for an amazing family in Chelmsford, ESSEX.

Location: just outside Chelmsford, ESSEX.

Hours: Monday and Tuesday, 8:00–16:00, plus two Sundays a month.

Minimum experience: 2+ years, including SEN experience.

Training required: up‑to‑date enhanced DBS and first aid.

Qualification: Minimum NVQ 3 or Diploma in child care.

Pets: Two cats (to be rehomed by January).

Driving: ideally, but not essential.

Pay: £15.600 per annum (£15 per hr Gross). This is a sole charge, fixed‑term job.

Responsibilities

Provide a kind, patient, understanding and engaging nanny for a lovely 3‑year‑old boy. Assist with fun and educational activities such as painting, play‑dough, cars and occasional walks in the park. The nanny must have knowledge of dairy allergies and intolerances, and preferably SEN experience. When the child naps, the nanny should tidy, load/unload the dishwasher and use initiative to see if any other tasks need doing. The family also requires care on two Sundays a month.

• 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate
• Two professional referees, including current or last employer, immediately contactable
• Appropriate personal insurance (recommended)
