Overview

Job ref: 325214

Starting salary of £24,268 (£12.23 per hour) increasing to £26,758 (£13.49 per hour) on completion of 6 month probation. Plus, an additional supplement of £842 per annum pro rata, nightshift allowance and excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week). You could earn a total package of circa £30,000 per annum, including excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week with overtime).

Contract Type: Permanent

Working hours: 38 full time hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Typical attendance is Tuesday - Saturday, 07:00 - 14:36 with up to two hours of scheduled attendance per day.

First things first, you'll start your day by planning your delivery route and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle. Then you'll be busy collecting and delivering parcels to households and businesses. It is important that you're able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg.

It's essential that you have a full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address) covering up to 3.5 tonnes (Cat B). In an ideal world you'll have a clean licence but it definitely shouldn't have more than 6 penalty points. And, you’ll be required to show your licence at your assessment.
