Paralegal – Family Dept. (Public Law Team)

Location

Newport Street Office

Hours

9.00 am to 5.00 pm – Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch)

Salary

Negotiable depending upon experience.

We have a vacancy for a Family Paralegal to work in our busy Family Law Department, public law team at our Newport Street office.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a Family Law department.

The position may involve travel to courts, meetings and other offices; therefore the ideal candidate would have a car available for work use.

Ongoing training, guidance and support from the team is provided. Initial training will be conducted at our Bury office, so the ability to travel to/from Bury is required in the first instance.

Job Role

Working within a busy office with a friendly team of people, you will be expected to carry out the following duties:

  • Arranging appointments and meetings
  • Telephone contact with clients and outside agencies
  • Diary management
  • Database work
  • Prepare bundles
  • Client contact
  • Use of CCMS would be an advantage
  • Opportunity to progress for right candidate
