A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a specialist in palliative care to assess and support patients alongside clinical colleagues. The role includes providing education, developing clinical services and participating in audits. Candidates should possess relevant nursing experience and a commitment to quality care. This position offers a collaborative work environment within the NHS framework.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidenced-based nursing care. Provide expert advice and clinical practice. Provide specialist education and training to others. Work collaboratively and co-operatively with clinical colleagues to develop services in order to deliver quality care. Support the development of clinical services within the specialist field in line with national and local guidance which includes the NHS Cancer Plan, Palliative and End of Life Care Strategy. Participate in a rota that provides seven day a week (08:30 to 16:30).
